To lighten up brown skin spots
Early American settlers in Tennessee mixed fresh. lemon juice and buttermilk, and gently applied this mask to brown spots.
Both buttermilk and lemon are, mild skin bleaches that can be used separately. In the past, lemon juice was often combined with rose water and dabbed on the skin to bleach it. Wash off the application and pat Caster Oil to soften and prevent drying.
Also Folk medicine countries have favored the application of Caster Oil agespots for centuries.

Directions: Beat two whole eggs, add a tablespoon of heavy cream and a teaspoon of Epsom salts, then blend with a fork. Use a cotton swab and apply the mixture to the brown spots. Wash off about ten minutes later.To prevent drying apply some castor oil.

Everyone wants to look as young as they feel. But despite our good intentions, the skin

loses moisture, elasticity, and internal cell support as we age.

 

The following remedies are just a few among many that doctor Buchman mentions in her

book.

 

Fresh or dried powder of cayenne has many ancient medicinal uses.

Asians and Mexican Indians believe that a daily pinch of the

pepper in food or in hot tea will postpone many aging problems, including mental

deterioration.

 

Long ago, French Beauties used Fennel

Seed ‘packs” to offset aging-skin problems. Directions: Mash a handful of fennel seeds

and steep in boiling water. Strain out the seeds, add to two tablespoons of yogurt

and one of honey. Apply as a mask to the face for thirty minutes. Rinse off.

 

Here is one more of the remedies that was mentioned in the book.

 

Lemon balm, or Melissa, tea has been believed to ensure long life and protect

against senility since medieval time. Centuries ago, under the Klosterfrau label, Carmelite nuns

prepared a exlir, Melisana, that is still Sold in Germany, France, and Belgium.

 

Directions: To prevent wrinkles, pour one cup of boiling water over one tablespoon of

dried lemon balm leaves and steep. Drink once a day. Or eat raw lemon balm

leaves every day in your salad.
